The information sharing platform is the basic support for the business system of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and is also an important national information infrastructure.  The key to building an information sharing platform is the efficient allocation of resources, high integration and full flow of information resources.  Over the years, due to fragmentation and data barriers, there have been many redundant constructions, resulting in low effective utilization rate of resources.  To build an information sharing platform is first to strengthen management and coordination, carry out scientific planning and design on the basis of extensive investigation and research, adjust and optimize the allocation of information resources in departments, industries and regions, and form an overall and coordinated data management, exchange and sharing service capability.  Secondly, the construction of the platform is not to build another information system, but based on the existing information centers and business systems of various departments, scientific and reasonable integration is carried out through the standardized collation and transformation of data, so as to realize the full flow and sharing of data resources across departments, industries and regions, achieve the effective utilization of resources, and form a good mechanism for data co-construction and sharing and an atmosphere of openness and cooperation.

Judging from the overall application status of IT construction in the Ministry of Science and Technology, some functions of IT construction are single, even only the accumulation of some data, and there are no quality control, management and maintenance measures.

Based on the above analysis, the establishment of a unified information sharing platform as soon as possible to provide rich, accurate, fast and easy-to-use information for business, scientific research and services, and the efficient management of rapidly growing information and sharing of information resources have become the key issues to be solved urgently in the development of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

According to the current situation and future development needs of the information sharing platform of the Ministry of Science and Technology, GRT provides optical fiber modules and optical fiber network cards to ensure its data transmission.

As a channel for information transmission, high-speed server access to network system is provided in network planning, which provides high-speed channel guarantee for application information transmission on each application system deployed on the server.

In addition to the network, the database server, application server and Web server that need to share storage resources in the information system of the Ministry of Science and Technology (which can be accessed as required) are connected to the storage exchange platform, and the storage area network is constructed to complete the centralized integration of data.
